What this is

Not a seminar. Not a fundamentals course.

This is a competition build, structured across nine weeks and pointed at a single event.

Nine weeks is long enough to change how you compete. Short enough that every session has to count.

From 31 August to 1 November we are opening the mat for a full World Pro Competition Camp, led by Professor Vinicius Cruz and Professor Thabet Altaher. It is built for athletes competing at the AJP Abu Dhabi World Professional Championship, running 9 to 21 November.

The camp runs on a periodised structure. You are not turning up to a different class each night hoping it adds up. Weeks one to three build the base. Weeks four to six build the pressure. Weeks seven to nine sharpen for the bracket. Everything is gi.

Technical blocks built around AJP scoring

Hard rounds and positional volume

Match simulation and bracket rounds

A gameplan you take to the mat

Weight management through the peak weeks

Coaching from the edge of the mat, every session

Two ways in

Six nights a week. Or three.

Both tracks train together, same coaches, same rounds. Track B is not the beginner version. There isn't one.

The structure

Nine weeks. One destination.

Three phases, each with a job. Every athlete in the room is training for the same event. The room moves through them together.

01

Weeks 1 to 3

Base.

Testing, technical audit, and positional volume. The squad establishes where it stands, then builds the engine every fighter will run on for the next six weeks.

02

Weeks 4 to 6

Build.

AJP scoring drilled until it's instinct. Hard sparring against the styles you'll meet in the bracket. Gameplans locked in, not improvised on the day.

03

Weeks 7 to 9

Peak.

Full simulation days, bracket-style rounds, weight management. By the time you step onto the mat in Abu Dhabi, competition day is a repeat of what the room has already done, together.

Common questions.

No. The camp is built around that event, but you do not have to be entered to train it. Plenty of people want a hard nine weeks with structure behind it. If that is you, the camp works.

No. There is no beginner version. Track B is the same room, the same coaches and the same rounds as Track A, three nights a week instead of six. It exists for competitors whose schedule will not take six sessions, not for those who want an easier one.

This is a competition camp, so it assumes you already train regularly and can handle hard rounds. If you are unsure whether it is the right fit for where you are, message us and we will tell you honestly.

Message us and we will work it out. Spots are capped at 30 across the camp, so any change depends on what is available at the time.

A refundable AED 500 deposit holds your spot for 72 hours while you sort the rest. Message us and we will send the payment link straight back.

Gi throughout, all nine weeks. The event it is built for is a gi competition, so the camp matches it.

Drop-ins are AED 250 a session, subject to space on the night. The camp is designed to be trained as a block though, and you will get considerably more out of it that way.
